In One Of My Weaker Moments
, 1989. Brian plays guitar.
Released as a single, with the instrumental version on the B-side, but it failed to chart.
The 7" sleeve clearly states that Brian did not produce the track, despite what some sources suggest. 1. Single Version (3:40) (on the 7" and 12" singles)
2. Instrumental Version (3:38) (on the 7" and 12" singles; a complete instrumental, containing no lyrics at all)
3. Drama Mix (5:20) (on the 12" single only; this adds a lengthy instrumental intro, an additional instrumental section in the middle, much more guitar from Brian, and loses two lines of lyrics) All the good times that we had
I could count on one hand
People say that I'm crazy
People don't understand
I keep saying I'll leave him
I almost do but then
Everytime I head for the door
I think it through again
In one of my weaker moments
I let the moment go
I'll never change him
Why I stay here I don't know
In one of my weaker moments
I let the moment die
Seems when you love someone
You can't say goodbye
It's not how I imagined
Waiting up half the night
How long can you keep hoping
We're gonna get it right
When I think of the future
I wanna fly away
Now's the time, yes I could go now
That's what I always say
In one of my weaker moments
I let the moment go
I'll never change him
Why I stay here I don't know
In one of my weaker moments
I let the moment die
Seems when you love someone
You can never say goodbye In one of my weaker moments
I say there's nothing wrong I hide the feelings
I've been feeling for too long
In one of my weaker moments
I say let's wait and see
For I know if I go
He won't come running after me
Yes We Can
, 1989. Brian plays guitar.
Other artists include Ian Anderson, Joe Cocker, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Rush, Chris Thompson and Stefan Zauner.
This track is available on the 'Earthrise' album and was also released as a single, but did not chart. 1. Single Version (3:59) (on all singles)
2. Extended Version (5:29) (on the 12" and CD singles only)
3. Instrumental version (3:59) (on all singles; contains no lyrics at all)
(there is also a version called 'Nature Sounds', which does not feature Brian) Where we went wrong
Is not important now
And where we're going
Nobody knows
But one certainty
Of our time will be
Paint it up
And reaping what we've sown
When the rivers are rowing
Is there hope for anyone
'Cos nothing is for sure
No, nothing anymore
Down the road of tears
There's a new resolution
People searching for a break
Only time will tell
If we've learned our lessons well
To put aside our differences
To put aside it all
Yes we can
Save the world around us
Hand in hand
Fighting for our lives
United we stand
We're looking to the future
'Cos there's no escape
And we can't fly away Yes we can
Save the world around us
Hand in hand
Fighting for our lives
United we stand
For the future generations
'Cos there's no escape
And we can't fly away Let the spirit last
For a new generation
Walk away from the walls
That hold us in
Though they save so hard
When you're reaching for the sky
We owe it to the future
We owe it all
Yes we can
Save the world around us
Hand in hand
Fighting for our lives
United we stand
For the future generations
'Cos there's no escape
And we can't fly away
'Cos there's no escape
And we can't fly away
When Death Calls
, 1989. Brian plays guitar. Length 6:55.
Available on the album 'Headless Cross'. Peace all over the world
The end will glow in the glory of the son
His skin crept cold
Long in the bliss of the hours of dying
Misguided mortals
You'll burn with me
Spirit of men cannot be free
When death calls
This is the answer dying
When death calls
The spirit of men can be free
When death calls
Oh, oh, oh, there's no tomorrow
When death calls
Oh, just to hear people share it all
Oh, ohh
Tell me not
Fear of the flames
Means that heaven is closer
But I believe Satan lives
In the souls of the dying
Misguided mortals
You'll burn with me
Spirit of men cannot be free
When death calls
Oh, heaven is closer
When death calls
Can you hear the flames from the souls of the dying
When death calls
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
When death calls
You're gonna burn
Don't look - in those sunken eyes
Don't look - and you'll stay alive
Don't laugh - in the face of death
Or your tongue will blister
Can't die - and to save yourselves
You'll die - and Satan takes your soul
In the face of death
Are you coming master?
Don't look - in those sunken eyes
Don't look - and you'll stay alive
Don't laugh - in the face of death
Or your tongue will blister
Can't die - to save yourselves
You'll die - the devil takes your soul
When all is well
You'll cross the river
When death calls
This is the answer dying
When death calls
The spirit of men can be free
When death calls
Oh, oh, oh, there's no tomorrow
When death calls
Just to hear people, people share it all
When death calls
Can you hear the flames from the souls of the dying
When death calls
You're gonna die, die, die, oh, oh
When death calls
Heaven is closer
When death calls
I can feel it, it's gonna take it's time
When death calls
Can you hear it dying
When death calls
Tell me, tell me
Ow, ow, what you saying?
When death calls
You're gonna take it slow
Self
, 1989. Brian plays guitar.
Written by Fuzzbox, produced by Andy Richards.
Available on the album 'Big Bang', and also released as a single which reached no 24.
Some of the single formats also feature a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody, but this does not feature Brian. 1. Single Version (3:43) (on the album and 7" single only)
2. 'The Selfish Mix' (unknown length) (possibly an extended version; on a German 3" CD and 12" single only) You didn't write, you didn't telephone
You didn't call, you left me on my own
You don't think about anyone but yourself
Do you think the problems fade if you get stoned
Self, self, self, self
Always you, never me
What the hell do you expect me to be
Self, self, self, self
You don't see things like I do
You've left me empty, you've left me numb inside
Just 'cos I love you doesn't mean you can take me for a ride
I'm sick of you giving me all the cues
I've tried to forget you but I can't
Although I've tried
Tried, tried
Self, self, self, self
Always you, never me
What the hell do you expect me to be
Self, self, self, self
I can't forget you though I try
You didn't write, you didn't telephone
You didn't call, you left me on my own
You've left me empty, you've left me numb inside
Just 'cos I love you doesn't mean you can take me for a ride
I'm sick of you giving me all the cues
I've tried to forget you but I can't
Although I've tried
Tried and tried
Self, self, self, self
Always you, never me
What the hell do you expect me to be
Self, self, self, self
You don't see things like I do
Self, self, self, self
Always you, never me
What the hell do you expect me to be
Self, self, self, self
Self, self, self, self, self, self, self, self, self
Love Train
, 1989. Brian plays guitar.
Available on the album 'Blast' and also released as a single, which reached no 4.
The album was reissued in 2010 with remixes of the song as bonus tracks, of which the majority do not feature Brian, namely Americana Big Beat Version, Iron Horse Instrumental, 12" Americana Big Beat Radio Mix, and the Bonus Big Beat Radio Version. 1. Album Version (4:01) (available on the album and single)

High Heel Sneakers
(live)
, 1989. Brian plays guitar. Length 3:00.
This track was performed live on 21 November 1989 at the Hammersmith Odeon, London, England. It was not released on the 'Jerry Lee Lewis And Friends' DVD alongside the other tracks, and was quite probably omitted from the VHS aswell. The track 'Mexicali Rose' instead appeared in it's place, with a number of sources incorrectly stating that Brian appears on that track and not this.

Say, well, I am just out of school
Like I'm real, real cool
I got the jump and I got the jive
I got the message to be alive
Because I'm a wild one
Another hubba, a wild one
I'm gonna keep a shakin' baby
I'm gonna keep a movin' baby
Don't you cramp my style I'm a real wild child
Come on baby, shake it all night long
(Improvised lyrics)
Because I'm a wild one
Ba, ba, ba, baby I'm a wild one, huh
I'm gonna keep a shakin' baby
Gonna keep a movin' baby
Don't you cramp my style I'm a real wild child
Yeah, I just might pick you up in my 88
I said come on sugar, now don't be late
Move on down to the social hop
The joint is really jumping, yeah we're really gonna have a ball
But I'm a wild one
Hey baby I'm a wild one
I'm gonna keep a movin' baby
Gonna keep a shakin' baby
Don't you cramp my style I'm a real wild child
Oh, I really get to movin' when the sun goes down
After dark 'till the dogs come around
Go down to the social hop, oh when I start a boppin' I just can't stop
Because I'm a wild one
Hey baby I'm a wild one
I'm gonna keep a shakin' baby
Gonna keep on living baby
Don't cramp my style I'm a real wild child

Trying not to think out loud
Whispers shout
Whispers scream
Together we can make it a dream
Mountains high
Mountains low
Without a bridge
You mind how you go
And what you need
Is what I want
So don't be afraid, let it show
Don't be afraid, just let it explode
We have got the power
To build the highest tower
Standing with our feet on the ground
We've got what it takes
Together we can make it
Together we can blow the house down
Blow the house down, oh, oh, oh
Blow the house down, yeah
Blow the house down, oh, oh, oh
Blow the house
Blow the house down
Hey, hey
Silent words
In your eyes
Hiding in a lover's disguise
And as my heart steals your mind
Together we'll be partners in crime
Deserts dry
Don't you know
Without the water
No river flows
And what you need
Is what I want
So don't be afraid, let it show
Don't be afraid, just let it explode
We have got the power
To build the highest tower
Standing with our feet on the ground
We've got what it takes
Together we can make it
Together we can blow the house down
Blow the house down, oh, oh, oh
Blow the house down, yeah
Blow the house down, oh, oh, oh
Blow the house
Blow the house
Down
Mountains high
Mountains low
Without a bridge
You mind how you go
And what you want
Is what I need
So don't be afraid, let it show
Don't be afraid, just let it explode, wow
We have got the power
To build the highest tower
Standing with our feet on the ground
We've got what it takes
Together we can make it
Together we can blow the house down
(Blow the house down) we have got the power
To build the highest tower
Standing with our feet on the ground
We've got what it takes
Together we can make it
Together we can blow the house down
Blow the house down, oh, oh, oh
Blow the house down, yeah
Blow the house down, oh, oh, oh
Blow the house
Blow the house down

Oh, you know that, know that

Yeah
Mercy baby
Hey honey
Yeah, you're the one I'm talking to
The one with the smile on your face, ha, ha
You be balling here for
Because Big Bopper's here man, I know this is the place
Yeah, this is the place where all the cats join in man
Blow your horn man, blow your horn
Everybody jumps up and down
Holler hoy, boy
We gonna boogie to the left
We gonna boogie to the right
Gonna boogie in the morning
Gonna boogie at night
Gonna boogie on the floor
Gonna boogie on the ground
Ahhh, you know baby, gonna jumpside down
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Boogie woogie woogie baby, yeah
Oh, oh, Lord, mercy baby easy now easy

It's getting baby, it's getting
Boogie woogie baby
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Owww, oh, I can't take no more of this jivin'
Hey, honey, I thought I told you be boogie woogie, baby
Huh, there ain't nothing moving but the leaves
And they won't be blowing away but blowing
Ha, ha, shut on down baby, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, all the time
Shut your mouth honey, shut your mouth
We ain't here to walk, we're here to boogie
Yeah, ha, ha, ha, ha
I can see you're real fine
I can see your face
I can see the lies and
I know this is the place
You shake your hips and you
You puck up your mouth
I kiss your lips and I
Boogie woogie woogie woogie
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Oh man I tell you I can't stand it man, I can't stand it
Oh ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Oh, oh, yeah, oh, you can boogie
Now you go real fast and you go really slow
And you stop running and you boogie for more
You jump and you scream and you holler hoy
Look everybody I'm the boogie woogie boy
Ha, ha, ha, ha
Well man I tell you, they all catch up with their feet
And get the beat
But we're getting boogie man
Ha, ha, ha, ha
Let me hear it baby, let me hear it
Yeah, oh you can boogie woogie, boogie woogie
Ahhhhh
Yeah, I'm getting hot now
I'm getting real hot
Yeah, ha, ha
Because you cats keep on blowing
We're gonna be here till early in the morning
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Oh yeah
Boogie woogie woogie woogie
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha

Go Bopper Go
, 1989. Brian plays guitar. Length 3:28.
Available on the album 'A Tribute to The Big Bopper'.
Written by Gareth Marks. Way on back when rock and roll was born
There was a man the name of (unknown lyric), ha
He played the records on the radio
They come from miles around to dig his show
They said
Go Bopper go
Let the people know, yeah
You got music in your soul
You call it rock and roll
So, go Bopper go
Then one day the Lord was just a
Passing through he said
Hello baby, yeah I'm talking to you, ha, ha
Now Bopper man you get a job to do
You gotta cut yourself some records man, your DJ days are through
He said go Bopper go, yeah
Let my people know, yeah
He got music in your soul
Calls it rock and roll
So, go Bopper go, ha, ha
So he got himself a shelf, a real sharp friend
And put a big old hat upon his head
He wiggle jiggled like a man insane
Throughout Chantilly down to Portland Maine
They're singing
Go Bopper go, yeah
Let the people know, man
You got music in your soul
Calls it rock and roll
So, go Bopper go
Go man go, play that thing
And then one day
The Lord came down
And took his hand
And said I needs you Bopper
For my heavenly band
And you know
Sometimes in Texas when the stars are shining bright
You can almost hear the angels singing
And the darkness fills night
They're singing
Go Bopper go
Let the people know
He got music in his soul
Calls it rock and roll
So, go Bopper go
Go Bopper go
Go Bopper
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Crazy daddy
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha

Like a bird
Cross the sky
I am flying
Passing high clouds
To be near you
To be free
Can you hear me
Can you hear me
Through the dark night
Far away
I am flying
Forever crying
To be with you
Who can say
We are sailing
We are sailing
Far away
Cross the sea
We are sailing
Stormy water
To be near you
To be free

Get Out Of My Way

2. D-Mix (unknown length) (available on the 12" and CD single)
3. Air Mix (unknown length) (available on the 12" and CD single) Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
Do, do it
Yeah, do it, do it
I can do it, do it
Yeah, do it, do it
I saw the light at seventeen
Put it all together then
Didn't even know that it showed
Then you call me up to fight a war
That ain't worth fighting for
You can do more damage with a loud guitar
If you plug me in I can do my thing
Well, I ain't got no sympathy
Soldier boy don't mess with me
Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
I can do it, do it, I can do it all
I can do it, do it, I can do it all
Do it, do it, I can do it all
I can do it, do it, I can do it all
Been all around the universe
I seen almost everything
Show you all the troubles of the world
Then you come to me in deep despair
Well, baby I don't even care
Everybody gets what they deserve
You can switch my dial
That'll make me smile
But I don't need your free advice
'Cos here's mine, get a life
Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
I can do it, do it, I can do it all
I can do it, do it, I can do it all
Do it, do it, I can do it all
I can do it, do it, I can do it all
Maybe the thought crossed my mind
Just to get to the other side
But it's better than having nothing at all
There's an atmosphere full of thoughts
And ideas waiting to be caught
By the right mind
So plug me in, baby I'll do my thing
Well, I ain't got no sympathy
Soldier boy don't mess with me
Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
Get out of my way, I can do anything
Get out of my way, I can do it all
Do it, do it, I can do it all
I can do it, do it, I can do it all
I can do it, do it, I can do it all
I can do it, do it, I can do it all
Outta my way, outta my way
Outta my way, outta my way
Outta my way, outta my way
Get outta my way, get outta my way
Get out my way, get out my way
Get out my way, outta my way

Available on the album 'Oblivion'. Red planet blues

Rainbow red and growing high

Red planet blues
Red planet blues
Red planet blues
Red planet blues, blues, blues
The air's all wrong, crying in pain, yeah
Slide down the throat like it got claws and a tail
This used to be a place you could lie in the sun
And breathe all day long
Can't you hear it, everything screaming at you, at you
Hey, can't you feel it, whole world's singing the blues
Red planet blues (can't you feel it, can't you feel it)
Red planet blues (can't you feel it, can't you feel it)
Red planet blues (can't you feel it, can't you feel it)
Red planet blues (can't you feel it, can't you feel it), blues, blues, blues

The open plains to the mountain top
Fighting never seems, never seems to stop, no

Spreading disease with an open hand
Gotta tell you if you do any more
Be nothing left worth fighting for
Can't you hear it, everything screaming at you, at you
Hey, can't you feel it, whole planet singing the blues
Now the red planet blues (can't you feel it, can't you feel it)
Red planet blues (can't you feel it, can't you feel it)
Red planet blues (can't you feel it, can't you feel it)
Red planet blues (can't you feel it, can't you feel it), blues, blues, blues

Don't you know when you're through
You've broken this whole planet's heart in two, you

Lady Of Leisure
, 1991. Brian plays guitar. Length 4:57.
Intended for the album 'Lady Of Leisure', but unreleased.
This track includes TV or film dialogue at various points, which is not included in the lyrics below. There's two faces on one girl
Who lives upon the Earth
She's all graces and no cals
In her youth she had a ball
Now she's not happening at all
Lady of leisure
Time is slipping by
Lady of pleasure
All the dregs have flown
You'll have to make it on your own
In a penthouse fronted glass
Shoot your sister on the ass
Against the walls
No freaks and no diseases
No creases in the sack at all
She's a lady of leisure
There's still traces of Monday
On Sunday afternoon
The make up on her faces
Fill the room
What is it for?
She's not cooking no more
Lady of leisure
Ain't got no label
Lady of pleasure
Are you still able to get it on, get it on
Get it on
All the streets can take the doggy home
Give a little doggy a bone
You gotta take the doggy home
Give a little doggy a bone
You gotta take the doggy home
Give a little doggy a bone
You gotta take the doggy home
Give a little doggy
First sign of sunshine
She won't come out to play
Couped up in her skyline
Night and day
See how they fall
When they're not fairest of them all
No lady of leisure
Never caught you live
Lady of pleasure
Hasn't been a hit since, oo, sixty five
Lady of leisure
Satin and say ball, girl
Lady of pleasure
Cracks in your face
Tracks on every place
See it
Take the doggy home
Give a little doggy a bone
You gotta take the doggy home
Give a little doggy a bone
You gotta take the doggy home
Give a little doggy a bone
You gotta take the doggy home
Give a little doggy
Take the doggy home
Give a little doggy a bone
You gotta take the doggy home
Give a little doggy a bone
You gotta take the doggy home
Give a little doggy a bone
You gotta take the doggy home
Give a little doggy
Lady of leisure

Love of my life - don't leave me
You've taken my love (all my love)
You now desert me
Love of my life can't you see
Please bring it back, bring it back
Don't take it away from me, because you don't know
What it means to me
You will remember
When this is blown over
And everything's all by the way
Oooh, when I get older
I will be there at your side to remind you
How I still love you
I still love you
I never had
A chance
To say
To say goodbye
Love of my, love of my, love of my life
Back - hurry back
Please bring it back home to me
Because you don't know what it means to me
Love of my life
Love of my life

, 1992. Brian plays guitar. Length 4:51.
Available on the album 'Back Where I Belong'. 1. Single Version (unknown length) (available on the single, only released in Germany) If I stand in the rain
Feeling sorrow and pain
I know you'd stand here with me
And soothe it all away
When I look in your eyes
It's then I realise
That this world ain't here for long
So tell me did you ever wonder
If there's someone up above
There's something he should know
If there's a heaven
I'd wait there for you
And if there's a hell darling
Well then I'd just raise hell for you
And if there's nothing there at all
I don't know what I'd do
Without you
Without you
Tell me did you ever wonder
If there's someone up above
There's something he should know
If there's a heaven
I'd wait there for you
And if there's a hell darling
Then I'd just raise hell for you
And if there's nothing there at all
I don't know what I'd do
Without you
Without you
If there's a heaven
I'd wait there for you
And if there's a hell darling
Then I'd just raise hell for you
And if there's nothing there at all
I don't know what I'd do
Without you
Ooh, yeah
If there's a heaven
I'd wait there for you
And if there's a hell darling
Well then I'd just raise hell for you
And if there's nothing there at all
I don't know what I'd do
Without you, baby
If there's a heaven
Then I'd wait there for you
And if there's a hell darling
Then I'd just raise hell for you
And if there's nothing there at all
I don't know what I'd do
Without you baby
Oh yeah, yeah
If there's a heaven
I'd wait there for you baby
And if there's a hell darling
Well then I'd just raise hell for you
And if there's nothing there at all
I don't know what I'd do
Without you, oh yeah

Available on the album 'Wonderland'. What goes on behind the picture?
Is there something I don't see?
How can I be part of something I can't even touch or feel?
Oh no
We've got so much to discover
Open up and let me in
It's all that I can do to keep my hands from taking hold of you
Oh no
Why can't I just say I love you?
Why must we play these games?
Tell me what I've got to do
Tell me am I getting through
I can read books, but I can't read you
Oh no
Am I blind to your excuses?
Have I missed a vital part?
In all that you've been saying I don't believe you mean a single word
Oh no
Too much talk of how she hurt you
That was long before I came
I don't want to pay for pain that I won't let you feel again
Why can't I just say I love you
Why must we play these games
Tell me what I've got to do
Tell me am I getting through
I can read books, but I can't read you
Well I'm knocking on the doors but they won't open
'Cos I know that I can fix whatever's broken
I can read books, but I can't read you
I can read books
I can read books
I can read books
Tell me what I've got to do
Tell me am I getting through
Tell me what I've got to do
Tell me am I getting through
I can read books (I can read books) but I can't read you
I can read books (I can read books) but I can't read you
I can read books but I can't read you
I can read books
I can read books
I can read books
