This page generally only lists sets which included multiple releases which were previously available separately, or contain multiple different formats. Standard LP issues of albums which are housed in a box are listed in the album discography - in particular, see 'Queen Rock Montreal', 'Absolute Greatest' and 'Forever'. The 6CD set of 'On Air' is included in the normal album discography, as it was an alternate release rather than boxed set.


The Hit Box [gallery] 1982. Released in the Netherlands only. The LP's in this set were also issued in the Netherlands as two double-albums in 1984, called 'The Golden Collection'.

	A boxed set containing 13 LP's (11 studio albums upto and including 'The Works', and 'Live Killers') in plain white sleeves, plus a special LP of non-album material titled 'Complete Vision', as follows: A1. See What A Fool I've Been A2. A Human Body A3. Soul Brother A4. I Go Crazy B1. Thank God It's Christmas B2. One Vision B3. Blurred Vision The set also includes a colour booklet, tour itinerary, and map showing the countries which Queen have toured and released records in. 	A boxed set containing the exclusive video 'Live At The Rainbow' (on VHS only), the exclusive album 'The 12" Collection' (on either CD or Cassette), a colour book, T-Shirt, enamel badge, sew-on badge, and poster of worldwide album and single sleeves. The Queen Collection [gallery \| Italy boxed set \| Brazil 'Queen Collection' album] 10 November 1992. Released in the USA only. The 'Queen Talks' disc was also issued as a promo the USA in 1992, with a catalogue number of PRCD-8674-2.
	This set contains the USA CD's 'Greatest Hits' and 'Classic Queen', plus a special disc titled 'Queen Talks' which features the 1989 Radio 1 interview with Mike Read and an 'extended' version of 'Thank God It's Christmas'. USA 3 CD Set (HR 61407 2)
Greatest Hits I & II [gallery] 30 November 1992. Released in the UK only. Either this set, or the next one, reached no 37 in the UK charts in it's own right.

Greatest Hits I & II [gallery] 7 November 1994. Released in the UK, USA, Japan, Netherlands and Austria. Either this set, or the previous one, reached no 37 in the UK charts in it's own right. The set was later reissued in 1998 or 1999 in the UK.
	A two CD set of 'Greatest Hits' and 'Greatest Hits II', pressed as gold and black CD's, in a gold slipcase. The set also contains a colour booklet. UK 2 CD Set (CDPCSD 161)
Ultimate Queen [gallery \| full details] 13 November 1995. Released worldwide, limited to 15,000 copies, and 3,000 in the UK.
	A wall mountable, 20 CD cabinet, containing 18 Queen albums (two doubles) from 'Queen' upto 'Made In Heaven' (excluding 'Greatest Hits', 'Greatest Hits II' and 'Queen At The Beeb'), each pressed as a special picture CD. Miniatures [gallery] 1998. Released in the UK only, possibly only available through HMV shops, as I don't recall seeing it anywhere else.

The Crown Jewels [gallery \| promo sampler] 24 November 1998. Released in the USA only.
	This set is a special hinged blue velvet box containing the set of eight Japanese Miniatures CD's, from 'Queen' through to 'The Game', and a 92 page book containing lyrics and photographs. USA 8 CD Set (162200)
Queen Live Video Boxed Set [gallery \| Japan live video boxed set] 30 November 1998. Released in the UK, available through 'HMV' shops only.
	Contains the three VHS videos 'We Will Rock You' (the 90 minute version), 'Live In Rio' and 'Live In Budapest', each in slipcases, housed in an outer slipcase. UK 3 Video Set (VC6713)
The Platinum Collection [gallery \| Spanish promo] 13 November 2000. Released in the UK only. It reached no. 63 in the album charts and was removed from sale on 31 December 2000. It was reissued on 13 May 2002 to coincide with the 'We Will Rock You' musical, reached no. 2 in the album charts, and spent at least 116 weeks on chart. It was re-released again on 27 June 2011, with the 2011 remasters of each album. The US release in September 2002 has been certified at least double platinum, for sales exceeding 2 million. A similar set was also produced, which adds the 'Greatest Flix' video, but was withdrawn at Roger's request. 1,000 copies were later given out for free at the 2005 Queen Fan Club convention.
	This set contains the three CD's 'Greatest Hits', 'Greatest Hits II', and 'Greatest Hits III', in a standard three-way double CD case, in a silver slipcase with a booklet. Each CD is pressed as a picture CD. Special Edition - Gold [gallery] 2002. Released in South Korea only, possibly to coincide with the 2002 FIFA World Cup, held in South Korea and Japan.
	This set contains the standard UK pressing of 'Greatest Hits' on CD, in a special textured gold box, with a lyric booklet and a bonus disc which contains: 01. Jewels I & II [gallery] 30 September 2005. Released in Japan only.
	This boxed set features the Japanese-only albums 'Jewels' and 'Jewels II', and was released to coincide with the 2005 Queen + Paul Rodgers tour. Japan 2 CD Set (TOCP-67795/96)
Queen & Freddie Mercury: The Definitive Collection 2007. Issued in Italy only.
	This is a four CD box set that came free with a weekly TV guide called 'Sorrisi E Canzoni'. It included a black and silver box, a 128 page lyric book, and four CD's featuring the original artwork, but slightly modified to include the logo of the magazine. The set was given away over four weeks as follows: 12 March 2007 - the box, and 'Greatest Hits I' 19 March 2007 - the booklet, and 'Greatest Hits II' 26 March 2007 - 'Greatest Hits III' 2 April 2007 - 'Lover Of Life, Singer Of Songs - The Very Best Of Freddie Mercury Solo'. The same magazine issued a similar boxed set in 2015, titled 'The Queen Collection', containing all fifteen studio albums, four live albums, and two live DVD's.
The Complete Album Collection [gallery] 2008. Issued in Italy only.
	This is a 24 disc limited edition boxed set, housed in a black box. We Will Rock You (Italian cast album) [gallery] 2011. Released in Italy only, and possibly only available at theatre venues for the tour. This is an Italian equivalent of the UK, Spanish and German cast albums, released in 2002, 2004 and 2005 respectively.

Queen 40th Anniversary Boxed Set [gallery] 4 April 2011 (with the first five albums) or 5 December 2011 (with all fifteen albums). Released in the UK and worldwide. In the USA, three separate boxed sets were released, on 17 May, 13 September and 1 November, containing each of the five albums in each batch, with a poster. The US sets were exclusive to Amazon.com.

	This is a numbered, limited edition 'super deluxe' boxed set of 5,000 copies, in the style of a 12" x 12" touring flight case, which contains the 'Live At Wembley Stadium' double CD and double DVD set, a photo book, replica concert tickets, VIP passes, crew passes and stickers, a full page tour advert, replica hand-drawn tour map by Harold May, 'Friends Will Be Friends' scarf, 'A Kind Of Magic' inflatable Freddie doll, and 'magic characters' Hawaiian shirt (in either small/medium or large/extra large). Queen Orb USB Gift Box [gallery] 5 December 2011. Released worldwide.
	This is a numbered black velvet lined box, limited to 5,000 worldwide, which features a golden Orb with the Queen crest, a USB drive containing all 15 remastered studio albums and photo gallery, a Queen crest necklace, and a red velvet bag. The studio albums are available as both WAV files and 320kbps MP3's, but it is unclear whether they are the single or double disc versions. The set measures 9.4 x 9.4 x 10.2cm. 	These are four different boxed sets, each exclusive to Japan and limited to 1000 units, containing a T-shirt and the newly remastered 'The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert' on DVD or Blu-ray. 	This set includes 'Queen Rock Montreal' (1 disc), 'Queen On Fire - Live At The Bowl' (2 discs) and 'Live At Wembley Stadium' (2011 reissue, 2 discs), plus 'Live In Rio' (1 disc) which is exclusive to this set. Live At The Rainbow '74 [gallery] 8 September 2014. The 'Super Deluxe' boxed set was available in the UK and worldwide, while other sets were exclusive to North America and Japan.
	This is a limited edition 'super deluxe' boxed set, in a 12" x 12" box, available with or without a T-shirt. It contains a 12" x 12" 64 page hardback book, featuring many unseen photographs, which houses the 'deluxe edition' CD album, DVD and Blu-ray discs in the inside back cover. 	This is a 12" x 12" box, containing a 60 page book, featuring previously unseen photographs, which houses the CD album, DVD and Blu-ray discs in the rear sleeve. It also contains reproduction memorabilia, including the original concert ticket, stage pass, tour poster, album premiere invite, typewritten tour itinerary, an exclusive 12" single of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' backed by 'Now I'm Here' (recorded at the soundcheck), and two 'Bohemian Rhapsody' 40th anniversary balloons. 	This boxed set contains exclusive coloured vinyl pressings of Queen's 15 studio albums, across 18 discs. It is a gold box, with a lift up lid, surrounded by a black card slipcase. It also contains a 12" x 12" 108 page book, featuring photographs, artwork, handwritten lyrics and a discography. Each LP was also available individually, but only on black vinyl. Onkyo Hi-res Audio Set [gallery] September 2016. Released in Japan only.
	This set contains a high resolution audio player, housed in a Queen styled leather case, Queen themed headphones and earbuds, and an SD card containing five high resolution tracks. The release coincided with the first five albums being available as high resolution downloads from the Onkyo store in Japan. The headphones and earbuds had separate catalogue numbers and were available separately. A portion of the profits were donated to the Mercury Phoenix Trust. 1. 	This boxed set contains the original album on both CD and a new vinyl LP pure analogue cut, a new 'Raw Sessions' CD containing alternate takes and early versions, a 'Bonus Tracks' CD containing previously released alternate versions and live tracks, and a DVD containing a new documentary, 'The American Dream'. It is housed in a 12" x 12" box and also contains a 60 page book and replica memorabilia including three posters, a sticker sheet, tour laminate, and Elektra press kit which includes a newspaper, seven photographs, and five pages of biographies.
