The Bohemian Rhapsody Experience
'The Bohemian Rhapsody Experience' is an immersive VR app for the Android and Apple platforms which was launched in September 2016.
The app was commissioned by Google Play in collaboration with Queen, and developed by Enosis VR.
The app features a new animated video for the track, which heavily draws on images and characters from throughout Queen's career, such as the Innuendo juggler and Frank the robot. Towards the end of the video, it includes real-life footage of Freddie performing the track at Wembley, 1986. It is designed to be viewed with a VR headset, and reacts to head movements to give a fully immersive 3D experience.
The video features the familiar album version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody', but is a "remixed 3D spatialized version" of the track.
The app was launched in September 2016, but unavailable as of May 2018. Footage of the app is available on Youtube here, with an Italian introduction, with the video itself starting at around 1:34.
