2005 European Tour Downloads
(page 2)
This page features full details of the official downloads from the Queen + Paul Rodgers 2005 European Tour. Details are arranged alphabetically by song title, then chronologically by performance date. The downloads are available from The Queen Download Store and are designed to be burnt to specially pre-printed blank CD's to create your own live album.
10 of the 32 concerts on the tour had no downloads available, whilst all other shows had between one and five downloads available. Of all tracks performed, 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', 'I Want To Break Free' and 'Tie Your Mother Down' had the most with three downloads each. Of the tracks not released, 'Under Pressure' was the only one performed live on more than two occasions.
In total 46 downloads were available, and these two pages include full details and lyrics of them all. Of the two tracks played from a backing tape at the start of the concert, details of 'It's A Beautiful Day' are on the 'Made In Heaven' songs page whilst 'Lose Yourself' is included on this page.

The machine of a dream, such a clean machine
With the pistons a pumping, and the hub-caps all gleam
When I'm holding your wheel
All I hear is your gear
With your hand on my grease gun honey
It's like a disease son
I'm in love with my car (love with my car)
Gotta feel for my automobile
Get a grip on my boy racer rollbar (ahhhh)
Such a thrill when your radials squeal
Told my girl I'd have to forget her
Rather buy me a new carburettor
So she made tracks saying this is the end now
Cars don't talk back they're just four wheeled friends now
When I'm holding your wheel
All I hear is your gear
When I'm cruising in overdrive
Don't have to listen to no run of the mill talk jive
I'm in love with my car (love with my car)
Gotta feel for my automobile
I'm in love with my car (love with my car)
String back gloves in my automolove

Details of the original version can be found on the Paul Rodgers Songs page. Ahh yeah Brian: One, two, three, four Oh I'm so glad
Oohh I'm so glad to be here tonight
And I believe I've got a message for every woman and every man
Yes, I believe in somebody, somebody, somebody to love
I believe if you give
A little bit of love
To those you live with
A little bit of love
Has got to come your way, now
I tell you, I believe if you give
A little bit of love
To those you live with
A little bit of love
People now, has got to come your way
Well in my mind it's easy to lose sight of the truth
But in my heart I can't deny my feeling inside
'Cos I believe if you give
A little bit of love
To those you live with
A little bit of love
Has got to come your way
Well now, man in the sky you say you're flying, you'll lose sight of the world
You want to stay high, don't deny your feeling inside
'Cos I believe if you give
A little bit of love
To those you live with
A little bit of love
Has got to come your way, yeah
Brian May, ha, ha, ha, yeah
I believe if you give
A little bit of love
To those you live with
A little bit of love, oh
Got to come your way, I tell you again
I believe if you give
A little bit of love
To those you live with
A little bit of love
Has got to come your way
Now listen now
I believe if you give
A little bit of love
To those you live with
A little bit of love
Has got to come your way
Got to come your way, yeah
Tell me that you believe
Tell me that you believe like I believe, yeah, I do believe
Oh, oh, yeah
Lose Yourself
This Eminem track was played at most concerts (probably all) from tape at the start of the concert, between 'It's A Beautiful Day' (or 'Track 13' at some shows) and 'Reaching Out'.
This is an edited version of the original, with the chorus repeated, giving a typical length of 2:22.
At most concerts, the track featured a guitar burst from Brian just before the final chorus, and ended with an explosion (extending the length to approx 2:29), before 'Reaching Out' began.
The track officially appears on the DVD 'Super Live In Japan' (although it is uncredited), but not on the Highlights CD/DVD. Look
If you had one shot, and one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted, one moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip
Yo, his palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready
To drop bombs, but he keeps on forgetting
What he wrote down, the whole crowd goes so loud
He opens his mouth but the words won't come out
He's choking how, everybody's choking now
The clock's run out, time's up, over, blah
Snap back to reality, oh there goes gravity
Oh, there goes rabbit, he choked
He's so mad, but he won't give up that easy
No, he won't have it, he knows his whole back city's ropes
It don't matter, he's dope
He knows that, but he's broke
He's so stacked that he knows
When he goes back to this mobile home that's when it's
Back to the lab again, yo
This whole rap city
Better go capture this moment and hope it don't pass him
You better lose yourself in the music, the moment
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
'Cos opportunity comes once in a lifetime, yo
You better lose yourself in the music, the moment
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
'Cos opportunity comes once in a lifetime, yo
You better lose yourself in the music, the moment
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
'Cos opportunity comes once in a lifetime, yo
You better lose yourself in the music, the moment
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
'Cos opportunity comes once in a lifetime, yo

You made us feel like we could fly
So don't become some background noise
Backdrop for the girls and boys
Who just don't know and just don't care
And just complain when you're not there

Yet to have your finest hour

Where they can be alone
Are you calling me?
Are you trying to get through?
Are you reaching out for me
Like I'm reaching out for you?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh rock on
Get your party gown
Get your pigtail down
Get your heart beating, baby
I got my timing right
Got my act all tight
It's gotta be tonight my little schoolbabe
Oh, your mamma says you don't
And your daddy says you won't
And I'm boiling up inside
Ain't no way I'm gonna lose out this time, ow, tell me what I say
Tie your mother down
Tie your mother down
Daddy out that door
I don't need him nosing around
Tie your mother down
Tie your mother down
Give me all your love tonight
Yeah
Such a dirty louse
Go get out of my house
That's all I ever get from your
Family ties, in fact I don't think I ever heard
A single little civil word from those guys
But you know I don't give a light
I'm gonna make out all right
I got a sweetheart hand
That's gonna put a stop to all this
Fussing and fighting
Going on
Tie your mother down
Tie your mother down
Take your little brother swimming
With a brick, yeah, that's all right
Tie your mother down
Tie your mother down
(Ain't no friend of mine) give me all your friend tonight
Huh

Roger Taylor sings lead vocals.
Details of the studio version can be found on the 'The Cosmos Rocks' album page. Roger: Hi everybody. I'd like to sing you a new song, a song written for Nelson Mandela and his fight against AIDS. Say It's Not True. The harder we play
The faster we fall
When we think that we know it all
We know nothing at all
The letter arrives
Like a bolt from the blue
So what's left of your lives
All your dreams lost to you
Say it ain't true
Say it today
When I open my eyes
Will it all go away
Say it's not true
Say it's not real
Can't be happening to you
Can't be happening to me
It's hard not to cry
It's hard to believe
So much heartache and pain
So much reason to grieve
With the wonders of science
And all the knowledge we've stored
Magic cocktails for lives
People just can't afford
Say it's not true
You can say it's not right
It's hard to believe
The size of the crime
Say it's not true
You can say it's not real
Could be happening to you
Could be happening to me Roger: Danke Schon. Ladies and gentlemen, from Leipzig via the USA, Mr Danny Miranda, and by a huge coincidence, from Leipzig, Mr Jamie Moses. On the keyboards on the stage we have Mr Spike Edney, who always said he wanted to come from Leipzig, and now my good friend Brian May.
Seagull
Track length 3:44, song length 3:28. Recorded at Sant Jordi, Barcelona, Spain, on 2 April 2005.
Performed by Paul Rodgers, with percussion from Roger.
Details of the original version can be found on the Paul Rodgers Songs page. Paul: This is a little acoustic song that I wrote sitting on a beach in England many years ago, and it's called Seagull, I hope you like this one. Seagull, you fly across the horizon
Into the misty morning sun
Nobody asks you where you are going
Nobody knows where you're from
Here is a man asking the question
Is this really the end of the world?
Seagull, you must have known for a long time
The shape of things to come
Now you fly through the sky
Never asking why
And you fly all around
'Til somebody shoots you down
Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na
Na, na, na, na, na, na, na
Seagull, you fly across the horizon
Into the misty morning sun
Nobody asks you where you are going
Nobody knows where you're from
Now you fly, through the sky
Never asking why
And you fly all around
'Til somebody shoots you down
Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na
Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na
And you fly away today
You fly away tomorrow
Seagull, go on and fly
Leave me to my sorrow
Fly
Fly
Go on and fly
Go
To be with you when you go
Oh, yeah, now Paul: Thanks Rog

Roger Taylor sings lead vocals.
Details of the original version can be found on the 'Innuendo' album page. Cha, cha
Sometimes I get to thinking
I was back in the old days, long ago
When we were kids, when we were young
Things seemed so perfect then, you know
The days were endless, we were crazy, we were young
The sun was always shining, we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately, I don't know
Rest of my life's been just a show
Those were the days of our lives
The bad things in life were so few
Those days are all gone now but one thing's still true
When I look, and I find, I still love you
You can't turn back the clock, you can't turn back the time
Ain't that a shame?
I'd like to go back one time on a rollercoaster ride
When life was just a game
No use in sitting and a thinking on what you did
When you can lay back and enjoy it through the kids
Sometimes it seems like lately I don't know
Better sit back and go with the flow
These are the days of our lives
They've flown in the swiftness of time
Those days are all gone now but some things remain
When I look and I find no change Roger: Brian May Those were the days of our lives

The Show Must Go On
Track length 4:40, song length 4:24. Recorded at St Jakobshalle, Basel, Switzerland, on 10 April 2005.
Paul Rodgers sings lead vocals.
Details of the original version can be found on the 'Innuendo' album page. Empty spaces, what are we living for
Abandoned places, I guess we know the score
On and on, does anybody know what we are looking for
Another hero, another mindless crime
Behind the curtain, in the pantomime
Hold the line, does anybody want to take it anymore
(The show must go on) the show must go on
(The show must go on) the show must go on
Inside my heart is breaking
My make up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
Whatever happens, I'll leave it all to chance
Another heartache, another failed romance
On and on, does anybody know what we are living for
I guess I'm learning (I'm learning , I'm learning, I'm learning), I must be warmer now
I'll soon be turning (turning, turning, turning) round the corner now
Outside the dawn is breaking
But inside in the dark I'm aching to be free
(The show must go on) the show must go on
(The show must go on) the show must go on
Inside my heart is breaking
My make up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies
Fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die
I can fly my friends
(The show must go on) the show must go on
(The show must go on) the show must go on
I'll face it with a grin
I'm never giving in
On with the show
I'll top the bill
I'll overkill
I have to find the will to carry on
On with the
On with the show
The show must go on

Ahh, ha, ha, woh, ooh, ooh
Hey, but look, come on, yeah
Your mummy and your daddy gonna
Plague me till I die
They can't understand it
I'm just a peace loving guy, ooh, huh
Tie your mother down
Tie your mother down
Get that big, big, big, big, big, big daddy out the door
Tie your mother down
Tie your mother down
Give me all your love tonight
Uh, give it to me babe
Gimme, gimme, gimme all your love
All your love tonight, all, all, all your love tonight
All your love tonight, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, oooh
All your love tonight, what's that you say, gimme your love
Give it to me, give it to me, give it to me, give it to me, give it to me

Time after time
I've done my sentence
Committed no crime
And bad mistakes
I've made a few
I've had my share of sand
Kicked in my face
I've come through
We are the champions, my friends
And we'll keep on fighting a till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cos we are the champions
Of the world
I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls
You've brought me fame and fortune
And everything that goes with it, I thank you all
But it's been no bed of roses
No pleasure cruise
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race
That I ain't gonna lose
We are the champions, my friends
And we'll keep on fighting (till the end) a till the end, let me hear you sing the song people now yeah
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cos we are the champions
Of the world
We are the champions, my friends, all you people are the champions now

'Cos we are the champions

I know you ain't going anywhere
Run round the town singing your blues

You've always been a good friend of mine
But you're always saying farewell
And the only time that you're satisfied
Is with your feet in the wishing well

But wait
Throw down your gun, you might shoot yourself
Or is that what you're trying to do
Put up a fight you believe to be right
And someday the sun will shine through
You've always got you something to hide
Something you just can't tell
And the only time that you're satisfied
Is with your feet in the wishing well
